Level 3 NVQ Certificate in Automotive Glazing Supervision (QCF)

This Level 3 NVQ is aimed at individuals working in a supervisory role within the automotive glazing industry.
It covers the key skills required by these individuals when they are supervising technicians who are repairing and replacing glazing components on all types of motor vehicle.

Candidates for the qualification should be experienced in this supervisory role and be able to provide technical advice to inexperienced technicians.  They will demonstrate that they can complete quality checks, plan resources to meet deadlines in the workplace, communicate effectively and have a thorough knowledge of the automotive glazing industry.

Windscreens and windows are essential in maintaining a vehicle's structural strength and therefore a qualification of this type is vital in ensuring vehicles are repaired to the highest quality standards.

Many technicians undertaking this qualification will be employed as an apprentice on a Level 3 Glass Industries Occupation Advanced Apprenticeship. 

Successful candidates may potentially move into customer services, or progress to management level.
