This Level 2 Certificate in Adult Numeracy is assessed entirely by a national test set externally by QCA.
The test for this certificate is the same as the test used for key skill application of number at Level 2.
The test is one hour and 15 minutes duration and consists of 40 multiple choice questions.
Successful completion of this test provides exemption from the test component of the equivalent key skill
(application of number at Level 2). Therefore this provides a progression opportunity for learners, who can
then go on to build a portfolio to complete this key skill.
