Who is the ATA Cosmetic Repair route for?

The ATA Cosmetic Repair route is intended for technicians whose job role involves the repair of vehicle exterior bodywork through the use of vehicle SMART / cosmetic repair techniques.
There are three levels of job roles within ATA Cosmetic Repair; these are: -

• PDR Technician should be working in the industry and ideally have at least two years experience to ensure they are familiar with the techniques used for PDR.
• Technician should be working in the industry and ideally have at least two years experience to ensure they are familiar with the skills, knowledge and techniques required.
• Senior Technician should be working in the accident repair sector of the industry and ideally have at least three years experience to ensure they are familiar with the skills, knowledge and techniques required.
