IMI Awards is the UK’s only awarding body that is 100% focused on the motor industry. We specialise solely in automotive qualifications and accreditations.

Each year, over 70,000 young and adult learners from across the sector work towards one of our nationally-recognised qualifications and accreditations to prove their skills and competence. Innovating and improving industry standards
Previously operating as part of The Institute of the Motor Industry, in 2007 IMI Awards became an independently-run limited company as part of the IMI Group. On the IMI Awards Board are eight members with backgrounds from across the automotive industry, bringing a combined wealth of knowledge and experience.
