The Business Interchange programme has been established to ensure that teachers, tutors and trainers working in further education (FE) sector have the skills and expertise to continue to develop the workforce of the future.
Education and businesses working together can ensure that the teaching that learners receive will meet the needs of the business sector that they wish to join or are currently employed in. This means that by taking part in Business Interchange you will be contributing to the development of the workforce of the future, ensuring that learners gain the required skills for business.
Business Interchange is currently running a pilot programme; please express your interest now as the placements must start no later than March 2008. For further information visit the website http://www.takeeducationfurther.org/
Business Interchange is part of the Catalyst programme managed by Lifelong Learning UK (LLUK) on behalf of the Department for Innovation, Universities and Skills (DIUS).
