IMI Awards Fees and Charges

Current Fees

IMI Awards has structured its charges and fees to provide a simple and clear basis for each area of activity, e.g. the centre approval fee and the annual centre fee, which normally encompass all the charges applicable to centres as organisations.  Candidate registration and certification fees are standard across all qualifications, as are charges for candidate assessment and evidence recording documentation.

Centres will be invoiced in full for candidate fees at the time of registration. No refund on cancellation is available for these products.

Approved Centre Application Fees:

£600 - centre approval (non refundable application fee) 
          + £250 for each ATA route/level
          + £100 for each QAA* (Quality Assured Awards) programme required for approval

Approved Centre Annual Fees:

IMI Awards approved centres are subject to an annual fee of £400 plus additional £180 per year for each ATA route/level centre offer. Payment is due upon approval and annually thereafter.

Centres registering a candidate on more than one qualification simultaneously will receive a discount and will be charged a maximum of £50 for registration.    (Note: certification fees of £20 each will still apply).

QCF Credit Certificates:
Credit certificates requested separately from qualification certificates £20 each.
Note: When a QCF qualification certificate is issued a credit certificate will also be issued at no additional cost.


Management Qualifications

> Level 3 Award in Automotive Management - £70 (including registration and certification)
> Level 4 Certificate in Automotive Management - £100 (including registration and certification)
> Level 5 Diploma in Automotive Management - £100 (including registration and certification) 


Other NQF Qualifications

> A & V Units (NQF) - £40 each (including registration and certification)
> Individual NQF units - £15 each (including registration and certification)


Non-regulated Qualifications

Certificate of Management - £100 (including registration and certification)


Other Prices

> Replacement certificates - £20 each
> Candidate transfer fees, from one centre to another - £25 each (charged to receiving centre)
> IMI Awards may charge an additional £5 per candidate for registrations and certificate claims submitted on paper.
> External Assessment / On-line Tests
   The prices for all IMI Awards qualifications listed above include external assessment / on-line tests as appropriate.
   There will be a further charge of £10 for each Functional Skills re-test.  All other on-line assessment re-tests are free of charge.
