IMI Awards Fees and Charges
Current Fees
IMI Awards has structured its charges and fees to provide a simple and clear basis for each area of activity, e.g. the centre approval fee and the annual centre fee, which normally encompass all the charges applicable to centres as organisations. Candidate registration and certification fees are standard across all qualifications, as are charges for candidate assessment and evidence recording documentation.
Centres will be invoiced in full for candidate fees at the time of registration. No refund on cancellation is available for these products.
Approved Centre Application Fees:
£600 - centre approval (non refundable application fee)
+ £250 for each ATA route/level
+ £100 for each QAA* (Quality Assured Awards) programme required for approval
Approved Centre Annual Fees:
IMI Awards approved centres are subject to an annual fee of £400 plus additional £160 per year for each ATA route/level centre offer. Payment is due upon approval and annually thereafter.
Candidate Registration and Certification Fees
NVQs/SVQs (all levels) - £90 (including registration and certification)
Centres registering for more than one level simultaneously will receive a discount and be charged as follows:
£90 for the highest level registered
£30 for all lower levels.
Technical Certificates (all levels) - £55 (including registration and certification)
Centres registering for more than one level simultaneously will receive a discount and be charged as follows:
£55 for the highest level registered
£30 for all lower levels.
External Testing (including on-line tests)
Tests for NVQs/SVQs and Technical Certificates: £15 per candidate, per level.
IMI Awards National (all levels) - £115 (including registration, external tests and certification)
Centres registering for more than one level simultaneously will receive a discount and be charged as follows:
£115 for the highest level registered
£30 for all lower levels.
Key/Core Skills - £30 (including registration, external tests (where applicable) and certification)
This amount covers any number and level of key/core skills registered at the same time.
A & V units - £40 each (including registration and certification)
Certificate of Management - £100 (including registration and certification)
All other units - £15 (including registration and certification)
Replacement certificates - £15 each
Candidate transfer fees, from one centre to another - £25 each (charged to receiving centre)
Packages
Where centres want to register their candidates on several qualifications at the same time (e.g. to meet the requirements of apprenticeship programmes), IMI Awards offers a range of discounted rates in the form of 'packages'.
Note: To qualify for discounted rates all components of the package must be registered at the same time.
